Staff :: Kari Gardner
Kari Gardner, L.Ac. grew up in Fairport and currently lives in Syracuse with her family. Kari is a NYSlicensed acupuncturist and nationally certified diplomate in Oriental Medicine (Chinese HerbalMedicine). She began her career in 2002 as an acupuncturist's assistant and apprentice. During this time,she earned a masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the New York ChiropracticCollege's School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She earned her HHP (Holistic HealthProfessional) Certification in 2008. And, she holds several other certifications in the field ofcomplementary and alternative medicine. Kari believes that medicine, in its truest form, addresses all levels of an individual in an attemptto eliminate dis-ease and promote wellness. These levels include the physical, emotional, mentaland spiritual planes. As a child, Kari began studying meditation and spirituality and gatheringinformation related to healing from various religions and belief systems. As an adult, she beganapplying this knowledge to alleviate pain and ailments in herself while in a meditative state. Shevery quickly found the power of "mind over matter" and utilizes the techniques she has learnedover the years to help others find healing in themselves. Kari realizes that a blockage of theenergy of any level or plane can lead to a presentation of symptoms on any other level and that itis important to treat not just the symptoms of any given problem or disease but find theproblem's root and apply treatment at that root. Kari works primarily as a medical intuitive. This means that she sees and feels blockages andimbalances in the body and its energy fields. She uses many tools to remove and correct theseblockages and imbalances. The tools include acupuncture, colored light therapy, aromatherapy,energy work, radiesthesia (healing using pendulums), body work and herbal or supplementrecommendations. Kari is currently available for treatment sessions at The Center for Body Wellness on Mondaysand can be reached by calling 315 679 1926 or emailing her at . |
